Irlandesa, 32 años, estudió historia del Arte en el Trinity College de Dublin pero su carrera profesional se lanzó junto al cantautor Damien Rice hasta que en 2007 se lanza en solitario para grabar, hasta la fecha, dos discos, Sea Sew en el 2008 y Passenger el pasado año, al que pertenece este What'll I Do. Aunque Lisa Hannigan es aún relativamente desconocida en España, ha cosechado infinidad de premios en el mundo de habla inglesa y un excepcional reconocimiento de la crítica.
