Dinosaur Jr es una banda estadounidense de rock alternativo, formados oficialmente en 1985 por J. Mascis y Lou Barlow.
Formaron parte fundamental del noise rock al igual que bandas como Pixies o Sonic Youth que influyeron considerablemente a la explosión del grunge en los '90.
Dinosaur Jr. publicó Without a sound en 1994, subestimado álbum con piezas fenomenales como este Feel the pain.
Más tarde aparecerían el recopilatorio de caras b “Quest” (1995).
