Las tiranías de la industria musical y el propio mercado, saturado y con pocas perspectivas de venta, no permitieron a muchos artistas desarrollar una carrera como hubieran deseado tras un impacto mediático y de fama del calibre que tuvo Operación Triunfo. Una de esas cantantes fue Gisela. La catalana hizo sus intentos en Viña del Mar y en el propio Festival de Eurovisión, pero no ha conseguido despegar.
Ahora presenta un nuevo single, 'Sugarwood', en cuyo vídeoclip se rodea de un buen número de rostros conocidos y que supone un giro en su carrera. Si hasta ahora prevalecía la balada, cantada en español o catalán, su nuevo tema, en inglés, es una canción disco con compases electrónicos y una muy buena instrumentación, casi orquestal. ¡Mucha suerte!
